The MSolar Initiative consists of three vertically-integrated factories that manufacture solar panels, glass, and cells. Utilizing our panels we capture, store, and sell solar energy.
Founded in 2018, MSolar is a Virginia-based manufacturer of solar components, committed to producing clean energy through a vertically integrated production model. MSolar began when our founder identified a gap in the U.S. market for high-quality, American-made solar panels. Today, we are developing three major factories dedicated to manufacturing solar panels, glass, and cells. This is the MSolar Initiative.
Currently, most solar panel components in the U.S. are imported from Southeast Asia, with solar glass and silicon cells being the largest costs. Through our vertically integrated manufacturing of these components, we significantly reduce costs and supply chain risks, allowing us to produce high-quality solar panels at a lower price—all within the U.S., making us a rare player in the solar industry.
Our first factory, focused on solar panels, is operational, currently sourcing glass and cells from overseas. In the coming months, we will launch our second factory for solar glass production, bringing us closer to full vertical integration and reducing our reliance on foreign suppliers.
We are the future of manufacturing and producing solar energy. We work hard to try and do best by our customers and ensure and a cleaner, greener world by championing growth in the U.S. solar industry.
